The Leonardo Dual 200 dual wavelength laser treatment system is an extremely effective medical equipment for use in Urological Surgery. This device combines 980nm and 1470 nm wavelengths with high absorption in water and hemoglobin, which can be applied in many areas besides Urological Surgery.
The 980 nm wavelength brings high absorption in hemoglobin and hence, is suitable for urological surgery. Because of its absorption features, the laser beam does not affect the bladder.
The Leonardo Dual 200 Laser Treatment System can use all standard equipment in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy and other applications of Urological Surgery. Among them, there are 2 types of fibers: XCAVATOR and TWISTER.
Surgery of tumors
Our specialized optical fibers ensure effective bladder tumor treatment by optimizing water absorption and hemoglobin when used with the the Leonardo Dual 200 laser treatment system.
1. Bladder tumor:
Can be removed and coagulated at the same time, providing a simple but effective and no or very low loss of blood. There are a number of different regimens, standard operating room procedures along with local/systemic anesthesia or outpatient treatment procedures that can be applied even to high-risk patients. Outpatient treatment using cystoscopy and different types of bare fibers does not require local/systemic anesthesia and is a gentle treatment for bladder tumors. Both treatments for bladder tumor therapy reduce the patient's risk and can be done quickly.
2. Surgery to remove part of the kidney:
The ablation and coagulation features of our fiber contribute to the successful surgical removal of part of the kidneys while preserving the overall kidney function. High-tech fiber is the number one choice to ensure the best results. The ablation and coagulation processes occur at the same time and cause minimal bleeding with good tissue observation. Using our special diode laser to remove part of the kidneys (open surgery, laparoscopic surgery or robotics) will have a shorter or even less warm blood shortage, and is capable of Coagulation, effective hemostasis and reduced tissue damage.
